7th July London Bombings Key Points

  1. Several Al Qaeda connections have been reported - none of which have been confirmed by police

  2. Police identified all four men through documents found at the bomb sites. One of the men's was found at two of the bomb sites

  3. Bombs initially reported as 'high explosives' of 'military origin'. After raiding a house in Leeds and preliminary forensics the explosive used was deemed to be TATP

  4. Eyewitness descriptions and injuries contradict TATP explosives theory

  5. Some eyewitness statements suggest the bombs may have been under the carriages.

  6. High ranking Israeli security official reported that they had received a warning from Scotland Yard shortly before the
    blasts

  11. Only THREE cctv images of the men on 7/7 have been released. (two of Hussain and one of all men entering Luton)

  12. CCTV on bus was not in operation on 7/7

  13. Insider trading? The pound was sold short in the days prior to 7/7
