London Underground have withdrawn their previous statement that the Piccadilly line train was the 311 - it is now being referred to as the 331. At first this incident looked like just a typo, but according to witnesses there were two drivers on the 311 - Tom Nairn and Ray Wright. Ray has come forward on forums suggesting that they have been told the 311 was not involved in a bombing incident on the 7th and that they have no right to compensation. see unconfirmed statement here
